Bobby really brought my little pre-war studio to life! I had little more than a bed and some moving boxes when we began.This was my first time ever decorating my own solo space and I wanted to do it right. He expertly helped me pick high quality pieces from scratch and really taught me a lot about the ins and outs of good design. I was super busy throughout most of this process but he was very accommodating and had an eye I could trust even when I didn't have the most time to pick specifics- very reasonably priced as well!

Bobby was great to work with and I really appreciated his help crafting a solution for a couch/guest sleeping situation for my home office. I was feeling stuck about what would be practical, cute, and affordable in terms of a daybed or sleeper sofa so I enlisted his help. He came over, chatted with me and my partner, took measurements, and then got to work sending ideas. With my budget, he picked out a cute Scandi-style daybed from IKEA that was new on the floor (and he was at IKEA in person to scout it out/confirm it looked good IRL!) with two stackable mattresses, pointing out that it would be versatile for hosting multiple guests in different rooms if needed. He sent vision boards of fabric to get custom covers for the mattresses, and he helped get custom foam bolsters to put on top to really make it feel more couch-like. The three fabrics we ended up getting were super cute, and he coordinated the making of the custom covers with an upholsterer and they were sent to my house. So all was very easy for me to put together, and it looks so good! I did not have the vision to do this on my own, for sure. I am very grateful for the help and would love to work with Bobby on more home projects going forward. :) Don't hesitate to reach out because he's very flexible and accommodating to your needs.

Bobby was basically my architect. He came to my newly purchased completely rundown house and told me how to lay out the rooms, organize the kitchen and strategically remove certain walls to create a living space that flows and works beautifully. So obviously the value was amazing because I could never have afforded an architect, and he brought his less is more eye to the problems. He helped me see how I could get the most out of what I had without spending a ton. I think he is completely, completely, completely worth the money to get his opinion and suggestions on how to renovate and / or decorate before you take the plunge of spending money on your home. I was stressed and exhausted at the end of a post Covid renovation. I had been saving my whole life for this remodel. But now, everyone in my family was so tired of finding and choosing things. At the same we cared deeply about each piece that came into our home. Also at the same time money was an issue.

Someone on the neighborhood Facebook group recommended Bobby and I called. At the end of the first call I felt relief. He totally listened and asked the right questions and then totally got my quirky aesthetic. He presented me with an array of colors for my living room and hallway. I chose the boldest ones and now I am simply fascinated by my walls. I never knew I could love color this much. Next he found me a selection of fainting couches as I described my decor as “New Orleans Bordello”. I ended up with a ridiculously cheap red velvet antique all wood love seat that is so gorgeous and unique and special I get a little delight every time I see it. I saved so much money on the couch, and Bobby’s prices were reasonable so I was able to also get him to help with wallpaper. Which. I can only say, he slayed. I can not wait to see it installed.

Bottom line, Bobby does the following

-listens

-understands

-gives good prices

-finds gorgeous unique pieces

-at your budget level

And he has a really pleasant personality. So I highly recommend. Decoratively speaking. He saved me.

Bobby is very knowledgeable about furniture and design - he far exceeded my expectations, finding unique and special furniture and a rug that I would have never found on my own. My home is now truly my oasis, thanks to his great talent. He helped me to think outside the box and he gave me super helpful advice when I was stuck on decisions. All the while (and I can take a looong time to make decisions) he has been patient and wonderful to work with. He also has a great network and can help you with other interior design needs like framing artwork and restoring furniture. I can’t recommend him enough!

I moved into a new, larger apartment and had to find a several new items to fill the space nicely. As I am planning to stay awhile, I finally wanted to buy pieces that were cute, nice quality, and likely to stand the test of time. I don't have a good eye for design, so I am very thankful for Bobby's general advice and furniture recommendations. He found me this unique coffee table and as a bonus found the super-affordable ottoman at a thrift store. Most recently he found me a vintage MCM credenza. It needs refinishing, but Bobby also referred me to a trusted furniture refinisher, making the whole process fast, easy, affordable, and stress free. UPDATE: The credenza came out great, see photo. Bobby goes above and beyond to ensure I have good choices to pick from.

I posted recently on Facebook looking for help finding a nice-looking, comfortable office chair. I find shopping to be extremely overwhelming, so it's helpful to crowdsource when I'm looking to make a big purchase. Whaddya know, Robert Red has a business where he helps busy people find furniture, at any budget.
